Safety, First Aid & Statutory Training

Section 111A awareness, first aid and CPR, and core workplace safety topics, delivered on your site with attendance records.

PPE & safe working

Most workplace injuries are not caused by missing equipment. They happen because someone did not know the right way to do the job, or did not know what to do in the first minutes after something went wrong. Our safety training covers both: the routine safe-working habits, and the emergency response that limits harm when an incident happens.

Sessions are delivered at your site, in Gujarati, Hindi or English, for groups from a single shift team to a whole plant. Fire response training (extinguisher handling, evacuation drills, fire wardens) is a separate programme: see Fire Safety Staff Training.

Section 111A: rights and duties of workers

Section 111A of the Factories Act, 1948 sets out the rights and obligations of workers in a factory. We run a plain-language session for workers, supervisors and managers covering:

  • A worker's right to information about health and safety hazards at work
  • The right to be trained in safe working where the factory provides training
  • A worker's duty to follow safety rules and use the safety devices and PPE provided
  • Not interfering with or misusing any appliance provided for health and safety
  • The right to raise a safety concern or grievance, and how to do it properly
  • What the occupier and manager must provide, and how that is recorded

The session is meant to make these obligations understood on the shop floor, not only filed in a rulebook. Statutory provisions and state rules are revised from time to time, so we align the content with the current text for your factory.

First aid and CPR

A hands-on first aid course for the people you nominate as first-aiders, and a shorter awareness version for everyone else. Topics include:

  • Assessing the scene, calling for help and protecting yourself
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, and using a mannequin for practice
  • Bleeding control, wound care and dressings
  • Burns and scalds, including chemical burns and eye splashes
  • Fractures, sprains and safe immobilisation
  • Choking, fainting, seizures and shock
  • Electric shock: safe rescue and first response
  • Heat stroke and heat exhaustion for hot-process areas
  • Contents and upkeep of the first aid box, and keeping the records
  • Moving and handling an injured person until medical help arrives

First-aid boxes and trained first-aiders are expected in factories under the factory rules; we can advise how many boxes and trained people your headcount and layout call for.

Core workplace safety topics

Choose the modules that match your hazards. Each can run as a stand-alone session, or be combined into a one-day programme.

  • Induction safety: site rules, hazards, PPE, emergency exits and reporting
  • Personal protective equipment: choosing, fitting, using and maintaining PPE
  • Working at height: harness inspection, anchor points, ladders and scaffolds
  • Lockout-tagout: isolating energy sources before maintenance, step by step
  • Electrical safety: safe isolation, shock hazards, panel and cable practice
  • Confined space entry: permits, gas testing, standby person and rescue
  • Hot work: permits, fire watch and controlling sparks near combustibles
  • Chemical and hazardous material handling: labels, safety data sheets, spills
  • Manual handling and material storage: lifting, stacking and forklift awareness
  • Housekeeping and 5S: keeping exits, aisles and fire equipment clear
  • Incident, near-miss and unsafe-act reporting: how to report and why
  • Toolbox talks: short, regular briefings your supervisors can run on shift

How we run a session

We agree the topics, number of participants and language with you beforehand. Sessions mix short explanation with demonstration and practice, and finish with a brief check of understanding. You receive attendance sheets and, where applicable, participation certificates for your compliance file, and we can schedule refreshers at the interval your safety officer prefers.

Tell us your industry, headcount and shift pattern and we will propose a programme: request a quote or call us on the number above.
