In-Panel Automatic Tube Suppression System (KATS)
KATSElectrical panels, server racks, CNC control cabinets and dry transformers are consistently among the leading causes of commercial fires, and once a spark inside an enclosure grows it spreads before anyone can react. The Kanex In-Panel Tube Based Suppression System (KATS) puts detection and suppression inside the hazard itself — a UL-listed linear sensor tube runs through the enclosure and bursts at its hottest point under heat, triggering an immediate, localised discharge without waiting for smoke to reach a ceiling detector. No external power source is required. Direct systems (DLP/DHP) use the sensing tube itself as the discharge nozzle; indirect systems (ILP/IHP) route the agent through copper, stainless or braided pipe to strategically placed nozzles instead. Available with clean agent (Novec 1230, FM-200, FE-36), CO₂ or powder charge, designed to NFPA 2001:2022 / NFPA 12:2022.
