KFLIHQ-6Lithium-ion battery fires are prone to thermal runaway — cells swell, vent flammable hydrocarbon gas, and the fire can re-ignite even after it appears out. Kanex's AVD (Aqueous Vermiculite Dispersion) agent is applied as a fine mist that deposits vermiculite platelets over the cell surface, forming a non-flammable oxygen barrier while cooling the battery and insulating adjacent cells from thermal propagation. Purpose-built for battery storage rooms, EV charging bays and facilities running racks of lithium-ion equipment.
